Dogs are adorable and have long been known to be manā€™s best friend. They have long since provided man with company, protection, and comfort that are similar to what man receives from fellow human beings. They have long been kept as pets and companions and they have had great relationships with human beings for ages. But, many people are not aware of the most aggressive dog breeds out there.

Dogs can be dangerous and some of the species of dogs are known for their aggressive nature and trained for missions that are dangerous in nature. While any dog has the capacity to bite, there are dog species whose genes and general attributes are dangerous because of their physic.

Below are some of the dangerous aggressive dog breeds:

1) The Great Dane

This dog breed is known for its large size. The greatest dog to have ever lived was a Great Dane. They weigh 120 to 200 pounds and can grow to be from 28 to 34 inches tall. They have a good personality and can be kept as a pet because they can be gentle and fun to be with including children When well-trained they become very good attack dogs due to their imposing size and strength.

2) The Bull Terrier

The Bull Terrier is a crossbreed of the now extinct English Terrier and the bulldog and are known for the agility and power. Bull Terrier have the best lean muscle strength and balance compared to other dog breeds. They have an egg-shaped head that has ears that are erect and pointed and weigh between 35 to 75 pounds and have a height of 22 inches. They are affectionate pets who love to play and have fun. Since they can cause havoc when bored, they should not be left alone with young children and if this happens, they should be watched over by an adult.

Due to their muscle strength and general physic, they are trained to be dog-fighters and are very versatile in carrying out tasks assigned to them.

3) St Bernard

This dog breed hails from Switzerland and the name came from their work then which was to guard the grounds of Switzerlandā€™s Hospice and helped save injured and lost travelers. For noble work, this is where the name came from. The dog breed can weigh 140 to 180 pounds and can grow to a height of between 28 to 30 inches when mature. They are fun to be around and very welcoming when kept as pets.

Training these dog breed should start early in their life because they are huge and may prove difficult to train when they are fully grown. They should be watched as not to be too aggressive except when defending a family member from danger. Due to their size and nature, they are among the most dangerous dog breeds in existence today.

4) Siberian Husky

The Siberian Husky is a mid-sized dog known for its athletic nature. It has a multitude of colors and markings making it one of the most beautiful dog breeds in existence. This breed grows to a height of between 20 to 23 inches and weighs an average weight of 35 to 60 pounds. They make good pets as they can be charming and fun to be around.

When bored and not given adequate exercise, the dog can be destructive and this should be avoided because they have a lot of energy. When kept as pets you should ensure that they are well trained. Due to their lean and athletic nature, they can be one of the most dangerous dog breeds in existence. They are quick and dangerous when let loose.

5) Belgian Malinois

This dog breed is often confused with the German Shepherd due to their resemblance. It is commonly used by the police and military and also as protection dogs by families. Belgian Malinois have high energy, are intense and very intelligent.

They stand at a height of between 22-26 inches and 40-80 pounds. They are very friendly and protective of family members and do not easily gel with strangers. This is the reason why many people prefer them as protectors in the families as they can serve as pets and security dogs. Belgian Malinois can be very dangerous due to its natural size and nature. The fact that they are the general choice for security agencies is an indication of their capability.

6) Boxer

Boxers are a very popular dog breed here in the United Sates. Boxers are energetic, muscular, playful, super cute and curiousā€¦. but with that, some can be dangerous. Although generally good-natured creatures, Boxers can be trained as great watchdogs but if not trained properly, they can become aggressive. Boxers are large and muscular with a big bite that can do a lot of damage. The estimated bite force for a boxer is roughly 230 pounds per square inch! That is why Boxers make the list as one of the most dangerous dog breeds

7) Doberman Pinscher

The dog that looks like Batmanā€¦. Doberman Pinschers are one of the scariest dogs breeds around. They are fearless, confident and loyal but also most likely to show aggressiveness toward people and other dogs. They are very smart and can be easily trained but if not trained properly can be extremely dangerous. Doberman Pinschers may have a bad reputation as being ferocious but if taken care of correctly by loving owners, they could be a great and loyal pet.

8) Pitbull

Everyone knows that Pit bulls are a dangerous dog breed and even make the top of the list of breeds that may not be allowed in your community or apartment. These ferocious dogs account for the most percentage of dog attacks. But like with most animals, how dangerous they are can directly relate to how they have been raised by their owners. Pit bulls can be unpredictable in their behavior but also be affectionate and loyal. They require lots of exercise and good obedience training. Also keep your Pit bull on a lease when walking around the neighborhood.
